
PBfit Protein Brownie
INGREDIENTS
- 1 1/4 cup PBfit Classic
- 3/4 cup oat milk
- 1 egg
- 1/2 cup maple syrup
- 2 Tbsp avocado oil
- 1 tsp baking powder
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 1/2 cup vanilla protein powder
- 1/3 cup cacao powder
- 1/4 tsp salt
- 1/2 cup chocolate chips, plus more for topping

Preheat oven to 350°F. Grease an 8×8-inch baking pan or line with parchment.

In a large mixing bowl, whisk together PBfit Classic and milk of choice. Stir in egg, maple syrup, avocado oil and vanilla extract.

Sift together protein powder, cocoa powder, sea salt and baking powder into the mixing bowl and stir until combined.

Gently fold in chocolate chips.

Transfer mixture to the prepared pan. Bake for 20-35 minutes, or until brownies are set in the center and a toothpick comes out clean. Let brownies cool completely and cut into squares.

This was more moist than your average cake, but not as moist as your average brownie. Overall, excellent dessert that yields good protein and calorie intake for being a “knockoff” brownie gluten free! I’m a huge sweets person and love baking; but I also love my health. Dessert definitely satisfied me, I made it exactly as is except I switched 1/2 cup mallow syrup with 1/3 cup sugar (simply because I was out of maple syrup). I cooked it for exactly 20 minutes and it came out perfectly. Chocolate chips are a must! They are melted throughout the dessert
